On October 8, Rachel and Rev joined Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan and the Armenian Embassy in Washington to celebrate thirty-five years of Armenia’s independence. Rev spoke in his role at NVIDIA.

For Rev, an American of Armenian origin who grew up in Los Angeles, the relationship between the two countries is personal. His remarks focused on what American technology and Armenian engineering can build together.

AI infrastructure gives researchers, entrepreneurs, and companies the means to build in Armenia and serve the world. The opportunity extends to the industries around it—from energy and networking to software and engineering.

In his reflection on the evening, Rev connected Armenia’s future with wider regional opportunity: through trade, technology, and investment, Armenia and partners such as Kazakhstan can strengthen one another.

“Independence means having the freedom to choose our future—and building the capabilities to make those choices real.”

— Rev Lebaredian

Thank you to Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan and the Armenian Embassy for bringing us together.
